The memories of thisday will always be alive in my heart. It was about 5:30 in the evening, an ever so ecstatic Sarthak comes running into my room, yelling " i made it". confused uterly, I looked at him seeking an explanation. Panting, he explained, "Robomanipal! i made it". Even i had appeared for the interviews, but most of the questions were way too complicated for me to have completely answered them with confidence. To make matters even worse, the mechanical head, looked at my interviewer from electronics and simply refused to take my interview. .

To make matters even worse, the mechanical head, looked at my interviewer from electronics and simply refused to take my interview. .
Embarrassed at my own incapability I half heartedly congratulated Sarthak. I assumed that this was simply one of those moments when you just had to admit defeat happily. Unconvinced, Sarthak asked me to check my phone for the message. I told him that my phone didn't ring for an hour. He kept on insisting for a while so I decided to simply show him my messages. That very instant I could recall that my phone was in Sarthak's room ever since we returned from college that day.
The two us raced to his room, turning it upside down before finally discovering my phone. I couldn't possibly be more elated, i too had received the invitation message. I remember happily running to the old workshop which was an old makeshift toolroom initially meant for bicycle repairs.
Ever since then RoboManipal merged into my life and all those unfamiliar faces that I saw for the first time that night and many more that I met later on turned into family We grew in numbers, the workshop grew in terms of both facilities and size. Life was never the same again .
